My how they've grown

This week John turned 5 and Julia 6 months. The two of them had their pictures taken today so. . .I am posting their proofs as well as Dylans from July when he turned 2! I don't want to leave him out~ Have a great day!

So much to say!!!

We have had so many exciting things going on these past few weeks! From Julia trying her first food, and yes, she got that messy on her own, to John turning 5, birthday parties, moving and just being a family. Life is WONDERFUL!! John got a pirate digging kit for his birthday and he was hard at work. Dylan asked me to take his picture and Julia changes so quickly that I take too many pictures. . . this is the one I chose to share. We love you all and hope the holidays are spent with people you love!

Seeing the world from a different view!

Julia is now sitting up! She loves the view and when she falls over she smiles as if she falls over on purpose. . .let's hope she isn't a daredevil like her big brother Dylan! Enjoy the pictures!!

Visit from family!

My Aunt Marty and Uncle Dave were in from Texas this week for Thanksgiving and my grandparents 60th Anniversary. We were able to visit with them and these pictures are from our visit. Julia played with Aunt Marty's scarf and Dylan made Uncle Dave read the Deigo book over and over. Also, someone looked at our house today. . .hopefully they liked it! Much love to all!!!

Oh Dylan!!!

This is probably our first of many with Dylan. It doesn't have a fancy story. We were at small group and Dylan climbed down from the couch and lost his balance right into the coffee table. One trip to the ER and 4 stitches later, he still has the cutiest face!

Restful weekend!

We had a wonderful weekend! Spent lots of time together as a family since John was gone for 6 days. Who couldn't love these faces!

Happy Halloween!

This year John Michael wanted them all to be superhero's. Well, two out of three wasn't bad. We had tons of fun! We trick-or-treated at Josh and Sara's and the weather was perfect. Happy Halloween!

Last Friday I was able to go with John and his class to the pumpkin patch. We had a wonderful time. It was so nice to see him interacting with his classmates. He made me very proud. He is growing up so fast but I am thankful for the sweet little boy that he is!

Julia turned 4 months

And we went up north to enjoy the autumn colors, and John went shooting with Grandpa and Daddy! Life IS wonderful!

Sweet Sleep Success

Well, for 2 weeks now Julia has been sleeping through the night from 10pm to around 7am. She isn't even waking up for a diaper change! Yay! Last night though was even better! She went to bed around 9:45pm and didn't start talking until 8am! WOW! Yay Julia and yay me and my sleep! Life is wonderful!

Sweet Memories of Grandma Dunk

My Grandma Dunk knitted this and gave it to me during my pregnancy with Julia. I received the beautiful sweater and bonnet in March and my grandma passed in May. I am thankful to have something so beautiful from my grandmother. She looks so sweet! I will cherish the memories of my grandma while building new ones with my daughter.

My parents went with me to take the boys to the GB carnival while John was in Indy. . . Dylan was too small for the rides. I felt bad for him so he got a nice sugar rush!

We Won!

John Michael had his first soccer game on Sunday. In the U5 league "we don't keep score because everyone is a winner. . . " John and I kept score! John Michael scored 2 goals and I think the final score was 8 to 6 but John could tell you for sure.


All I know is at this age it is fun to watch them run around like a school of fish. Whoever has the ball, the whole pack followed after it! It was a great day and most importantly, John LOVED it!
